Project Description
This home is located on Bertrand Island on Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey.
The design of the multi-level residence is in response to the dramatic sloping waterfront location. The main interior staircase climbs with the slope of the site and connects all levels of the home, from the street to the lake.
The full height cathedral ceilings of the upper floor level provides for dramatic full height window groupings. This arrangement provides for dramatic views of Lake Hopatcong, beautiful sunsets and the hills of northern New Jersey beyond.
